No. It is silk and it is nice against skin, but this is a fashion object and we are not going to build a skincare claim onto it. Everything else we make has a paper behind it. This has a print :)
Originally inspired by butterfly wings - it is one motif, juxtaposed in three varying scales in three color palettes.
At the border it reads as leopard. In the middle as a floral pattern. And in the centre, in oxblood on pale blue, as something on a slide in a lab.

Yes. 100% silk. Not an artificial silk blend, and not a polyester with a silk finish, which is most of what the phrase “silk feel” is doing elsewhere.
Yes, and it is one of the better ways to wear it, since the border reads as a single pattern when it is folded on the bias.
Hand wash cool or dry clean. Press on low, on the reverse, while it is still slightly damp, with a cloth between the iron and the silk. Heat is what damages silk, not washing, so both a cool wash and a cool iron are safer than they sound.
Pure silk is delicate and catches on rough jewelry, a broken nail or velcro more readily than most fabrics, and a pulled thread can usually be eased back into the weave rather than cut. That is the trade for the handle, and it is true of every silk scarf ever made.
