What is a face cleanser and is it important? How often should you wash your face?
Yes, washing your face with a face cleanser is important. Unlike water alone, a face cleanser is the first step to clearing out excess oil, makeup, debris, and other buildup that can trigger inflammation and irritation. Your other products in your skincare routine will also be able to work at their best when applied to a clean canvas.
It’s important to strike a balance when it comes to how often you should wash your skin. Under-cleansing can lead to clogged pores while over-cleansing can lead to dry and irritated skin. For these reasons, we recommend that you wash your face twice a day in the morning and evening to clear any sebum, oil, and environmental pollutants that build up on your skin during sleep and throughout the day.
